The project at Lavarack Barracks involves the construction of four bridging shelters, each with different specifications. The shelters range from a three-bay to a sixteen-bay configuration. All shelters included bird netting with zips to prevent birds from entering the shelter area. Additionally, wheel stops installed to ensure the safe parking of vehicles within the shelters.
The construction also involved the installation of electrical and fire safety systems to ensure the safety and functionality of the shelters. The sixteen-bay shelter will have fencing dividers to separate the individual bays and CES cabinets.
Overall, the project involved the construction of four bridging shelters with varying sizes and specifications, all of which will be equipped with necessary safety and functional features to serve the needs of Lavarack Barracks.
