Sun Metals Zinc Refinery is located 15km south of the city of Townsville in North Queensland. The refinery produces a Special High Grade of Zinc metals which meet stringent quality standards required under its registration at the London Metal Exchange. Sulphuric acid, Low grade zinc concentrates and copper cake as a secondary product, are produced and sold to the international and domestic market.

CES Construction have been engaged to construct 3 x Concrete Thickeners to complete the expansion within the Leaching plant SS14 and SS18 areas.
